Dr. Joe Larsen, DMD

Dr. Joseph Larsen grew up in a large family who loved spending time exploring the outdoors throughout the wonderful state of Utah. He grew up in Salt Lake City and was is the second of eight children. Some of his favorite childhood memories are centered on the backpacking trips he experienced. Dr. Larsen was actively involved in the Boy Scouts, earning his Eagle Scout rank and learned leadership skills throughout the process of earning this prestigious level. His love for outdoor adventure has continued with Dr. Larsen into adulthood. He has been able to have his own exciting experiences such as white water rafting as a Scoutmaster surrounded by young men who are looking to him as an example.
When Dr. Larsen was growing up he had many positive experiences with his childhood dentist and orthodontist. Those experiences inspired him to go into dentistry. As a focused and determined student, Dr. Larsen was driven to do his very best and was successful at making the very most of his experience at the renowned Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Larsen is married with five children. He enjoys being a father, always looking forward to the hugs from his kids when he walks in the door from work.
Spending time with family is his greatest joy. If he is not spending time with all of his children and his wife, Dr. Larsen can be found outside enjoying some fly-fishing or maybe a nice game of golf. He enjoys outdoor photography and capturing wonderful images from hiking and camping trips with his family.

Jyoti Farwaha, DMD

Dr. Jyoti Farwaha was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and moved with her family to New Jersey when she was 16. Having able to train and obtain her Dental Medicine Degree at the prestigious Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey was an advantage being close to home and her family. She then pursued advanced training at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to gain further experience in the field of general dentistry. At the completion of her training, she moved to San Francisco, California to be with her husband while he was training as a surgeon. She practiced in the Mission and Financial districts, creating strong relationships with her patients and garnering valuable experience in adult general and cosmetic dentistry. After 5 wonderful years living in downtown San Francisco and enjoying the variety of food the city had to offer, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee and grew to love good old country music. She worked predominantly with children serving dental care for the underprivileged community.
Throughout her career, she has gained a broad and diverse clinical background from working with various patient populations in different practice settings. This experience allows her to achieve efficient, effective results for her patients.She believes the most important factor in achieving successful outcomes is communication so she works hard to ensure her patients have a clear understanding of the diagnosis and treatment plan. She works hard to educate and counsel her patients because she believes that awareness of our dental health can prevent future problems. She creates individualized treatment plans for her patients, and she will discuss in detail the pros and cons of each option. Dr. Farwaha never stops learning and stays up to date with the current literature and technology by taking courses. This allows her to offer her patients the most progressive care to maximize successful outcomes. Dr. Farwaha has been awarded the distinction of Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and is pursuing her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Being new to Tucson, she is acclimating well to Arizona and enjoying the scenic views and sunsets. Her hobbies include watching tennis, enjoying hiking on the weekends, traveling and especially spending time with her family. She and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy, and they are enjoying the joys of parenthood.
